Urgent Call-Out for Exceptional & Versatile Male Dance Artists

Autin Dance Theatre are seeking exceptional male-identifying performers with experience in outdoor dance and aerial dance for ‘Up in the Sky’

 

We are looking for highly creative and strong male-identifying performers in contemporary dance, physical theatre, and aerial dance (vertical and harness work) interested in working with us on our new performance project Up in the Sky.

Desirable experiences:
• Trained in contemporary dance
• ⁠Experience in aerial dance (vertical and harness work, front and 2-point pick up)
• ⁠Experience in outdoor performance
• ⁠Comfortable with character work and audience interaction/play

We are particularly interested in hearing from people from the global majority and other underrepresented groups.

Key dates & Fees:

Rehearsal dates:
Monday 2nd – Sunday 15th June at Wild Rumpus (fee £115 per day)

Tour dates:
Thursday 19 – Saturday 21st June at Basingstoke Festival 
Saturday 28th June at Dancin’ Oxford
Friday 18 & Saturday 19 July at WOW! FEST Walsall
Saturday 23rd to Monday 25th August in Birmingham

+upcoming 2025 tour dates

💰 Performance fees: 
✔ £225 per day (1-day event) 
✔ £215 per day (2-day event = £430) 

✅ Travel, accommodation, and per diems provided when working away from your home base.
