Last month, we hosted a fantastic weekend of audition rehearsals, and we’d like to start by expressing our heartfelt thanks to everyone who applied to our performers’ call-out. The sheer number of applications was overwhelming, and the talent on display made the final selection process incredibly difficult.
After finalising the audition shortlist, we all gathered at the MAC – Midlands Arts Centre at the end of the month for an intensive weekend of audition workshops. A huge thank you to the brilliant Avatara Ayuso for setting the perfect tone each morning with her inspiring contemporary ballet class. We’re also immensely grateful to our core team members – Jamie Higgins, Frank Hickman, Charlie Hogan, Will Hodson, Sarah Butler, and India Rose-Cox – who supported the audition cast as they rolled the Giant Wheel and Eko around MAC’s outdoor theatre and Cannon Hill Park.
