Summer Tour 2023

📷 by Pete Martin (Journey's international Festival 2023)

As October arrives, it’s the perfect time to reflect on our incredible summer tour! 🌞 We’re immensely grateful for the opportunities we’ve had to showcase all our hard work and creativity. This summer marked our busiest touring season yet, featuring ‘Out of the Deep Blue,’ ‘Parade – The Giant Wheel,’ ‘Street Games,’ and our engagement with schools, outreach programmes, and workshops.

‘Parade’ kicked off the season with a fantastic premiere at Walsall Arboretum in partnership with Black Country Dance Hub, and the spectacle and community cast engagement developed further as we continued touring this brand-new show in Basingstoke, Birmingham, Derby, Whitehaven, Tynemouth, London and Manchester.

Eko, our beloved sea-giant, took us as far as Ireland and Norway, bringing on board all our performers (even a short return of some of the original cast) who continued captivating audiences with ‘Out of the Deep Blue.’

And let’s not forget the return of ‘Street Games’ – an inclusive and accessible fun day with live music, dance, and BSL performance interpretation, leaving us wanting more of these heartwarming community interactions.

Thank you to everyone who made this summer unforgettable! 🌟
