New Performers Joining The Giant Wheel

We’re thrilled to welcome two incredible new performers to Parade – The Giant Wheel. Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Matthew Rawcliffe and Ellie McDonald

Matthew is an award-winning dance artist, best known for winning the contemporary category of BBC Young Dancer and performing the title role in the Danish Royal Theatre’s Pinocchio. His career spans work with leading organisations including Holstebro Dance Company, Kneehigh Theatre and Bregenzer Festspiele, with performances at venues such as the Royal Opera House and Southbank Centre. He also specialises in choreography for audiences with disabilities, working in partnership with organisations including Arts Council England and the National Autistic Society.

Ellie graduated from LIPA in 2022, training in dance and musical theatre, before joining Ballet Cymru 2 and completing JV2 with Jasmin Vardimon Dance Company. Her recent freelance work includes UK tours, dance film projects and new creations with respected companies across the country. Alongside performing, Ellie is a passionate teacher and facilitator with a particular interest in dance for older adults and people with Parkinson’s.

We’re delighted to have both Matthew and Ellie joining the team and can’t wait for audiences to see them in action.
