Spotlight on Johnny Autin

Our Creative Director, Johnny Autin, has been making waves in the artistic community.

Johnny has been busier than ever, lending his expertise as a consultant artist to various companies in the region. Recently, he was part of an engaging Q&A session with the Outdoor Arts UK cohort at SO Festival in Skegness, where he shared some insights and experiences. It was a fantastic opportunity to exchange ideas and inspire/be inspired.

Additionally, Johnny has been working as a professional consultant for our friends at Linden Dance Company, contributing as a choreographic mentor to their thought-provoking new piece, ‘Unboxed.’ This captivating production aims to unpack prejudice and challenge the audiences. It will be performed as part of Birmingham Festival 2023 on Sunday 30 July at 2pm.

Johnny is currently providing choreography support for Billy Read (aka Deaf Motion) in collaboration with Deaf Explorer on their new piece, ‘Cog in the Wheel.’ And we can’t wait for the piece to hit the road and go on tour!

Stay tuned for more updates on Johnny’s incredible artistic ventures and the remarkable productions he’s involved in as we will be sharing more insights on our socials!
