We are delighted to welcome Gavin Vincent to the Up in the Sky team and are incredibly excited to begin this new creative journey together.
Gavin is a multi-disciplinary movement artist, director and creative rigging technician with more than 20 years of experience in the performing arts. Rooted in Breaking, he is a veteran member of The Soul Mavericks, representing the UK internationally as five-time national champions and world finalists. His impressive performance career includes lead roles in productions such as A.I.Thentic (Gorilla Circus), Message in a Bottle (ZooNation), and Apologue 2047 at the Beijing Opera House.
Combining artistic vision with technical expertise, Gavin has built a remarkable career creating bespoke circus and theatre productions as both a movement director and rigging specialist. He has collaborated with renowned companies including Cirque Bijou, Theatre Témoin and Wired Aerial Theatre, contributing to productions such as Me vs Me, As the World Tipped, and the spectacular Bregenz Opera Festival productions of Rigoletto and Der Freischütz.
His extensive experience spans stage, commercial and screen work, including international productions, live events, stunt performance and collaborations with major brands. Originally trained as a physiotherapist, Gavin is also a passionate educator, mentoring and inspiring the next generation of artists through leading arts institutions and youth programmes.
