Our WOW Fest workshops continue to build momentum with pupils from St Thomas C of E School, who have been developing their creativity and performance skills through a series of engaging sessions with Tori Drew.
In Bolsover, Parade – The Giant Wheel brought together a vibrant community cast led by India-Rose Cox and Natasha Boyes. Working alongside Boza Youth Inc and the local Bolsover Samba Band, participants rehearsed over three weeks before coming together for a spectacular performance at Bolsover Castle on show day. The project celebrated local talent, collaboration, and community spirit, creating a memorable experience for everyone involved.
Meanwhile, in Weston-super-Mare, Parade – The Giant Wheel community cast workshops have been led by Natasha Boyes and Ellie McDonald. The workshops have engaged local community groups of all ages, alongside home-educated young people, providing opportunities to explore movement, performance, and creative expression as participants prepare for upcoming performances.
These projects continue to demonstrate the power of participatory arts to bring people together, build confidence, and create shared experiences across communities.
