The BPC Inclusion project is on a mission to foster a community where lived experiences, expert consultants, partner organisations, and professional practitioners converge in a dynamic space of learning and sharing. Bringing together over 20 regional dance artists, our focus is on championing inclusion and access within the realm of professional dance practice.
To enrich the conversation, we’ve extended invitations to freelance dancers, ensuring a diverse array of voices are heard, and creating a supportive environment for tackling challenging conversations. Our goal is clear — to cultivate a robust, inclusive, and empowered dance leadership in Birmingham and the West Midlands.
This transformative initiative is made possible through the generous support of Dance Hub Birmingham, Birmingham Hippodrome, People Dancing, Anjali Dance Company, One Dance UK, Deaf Explorer and several other wonderful collaborators!
Brum Pro Class is a membership programme led, managed, and administered by local partners including 4 dance organisations ACE dance and music, Fabric, Autin Dance Theatre, Birmingham Dance Network, 3 independent artists, Midlands Arts Centre – MAC & Brazilian Cultural Centre CDOB.
