Get ready to brighten up your winter evening as Autin Dance Theatre takes you on a magically evocative journey through Cannon Hill Park to welcome the arrival of the festive season.
Specially commissioned by Midlands Arts Centre (MAC), the inaugural family-friendly procession on Saturday 30 November will feature beautifully made willow and paper lanterns illuminating the sky, led by a glorious array of performers, musicians and a community cast.
The parade will start at MAC’s Outdoor Theatre with free refreshments and continue through Cannon Hill Park, one of the city’s best-loved green spaces – everyone is welcome. Dress up warm!
What to Expect:
Procession walkabout through the park alongside Falsefeet’s incredible stilt performers, and a joyous community cast! The 45-minute parade ends with a spectacular celebration back at the Outdoor Theatre.
