Call Out for Volunteers: WOW! FEST

We are looking for volunteers to help support us for WOW! FEST taking place in Walsall Arboretum on Friday 18th and Saturday 19th July 25. 

If you are based locally, are 18+, and are passionate about community participation, live performance & dance, then come and be part of an incredible event. 

Event: WOW! FEST 25 
Location: Walsall Arboretum 
Date: Friday 18th & Saturday 19th July 25 
Times: Friday 10am-5pm & Saturday 11am-6pm (*Ideal volunteer arrival time:1 hour before start time) 

Volunteer Roles may include:  
– Crowd Control 
– Handing out information / signposting audiences and participants 
– Registering Participants 
– Supporting get in and get out 
– responsible for watching set/props  
– Encouraging people to join in/watch 
– Collecting feedback 
– Collecting Charitable donations 
– Taking part in participatory workshops 
– Having Fun! 

Desirable (but not essential): 
– DBS Checked 
– First Aid Trained 
– Safeguarding Trained 

The event is family friendly, inclusive and accessible so that everyone can get involved and have fun! If you have any accessibility requirements, then please do let us know in the google form (link below). Travel costs and expenses are provided. 

If you are only available for part of the day, you can still apply to be a volunteer! We can discuss timings with you once we’ve received your application.
