Discover Living Mural: Stories of the Arboretum, a colourful two-sided mural by Walsall artist Alice Tanasie, celebrating the stories, memories and heritage of Walsall Arboretum. 🌳✨
Created as part of this year’s WOW! Fest, the mural brings together stories from local residents, schools and community groups, woven together with elements of the Arboretum’s history.
Come and discover the stories behind the artwork and see how local memories have been brought to life. đź’🎨

Alice will share a short talk about the stories she discovered and the process of bringing the mural to life, followed by an informal Q&A and light refreshments.

The mural has been on display at Lichfield Street Hub since Monday 7 September and will be free to experience until Sunday 18 October 2026.
