What an incredible year it’s been for Autin Dance Theatre! 2025 marks a huge milestone as we’ve officially become a registered charity and we couldn’t have achieved it without the unwavering support of our wonderful Board of Trustees. 💙
We want to take a moment to celebrate and thank this inspiring team of creative, passionate, and talented individuals who help us grow, shape our vision, and champion our mission to inspire, educate, and create positive social change through the arts.
Our Chair, Dharmesh Rajput, brings a wealth of leadership and creative insight from his years at the BBC and his current role as Head of BA Media Production at Birmingham City University, as well as being a head of Birmingham Indian Film Festival is championing connections between media, culture, and community.
Clare Lee Davis, an independent executive producer and fundraising consultant, supports artists across dance and film, helping creative visions grow through strategic thinking and partnership building.
Amelia Clarke, an arts programmer specialising in children and young people’s work, advocates for access and inclusion, ensuring young voices are heard and celebrated in the arts.
Donna Makins, producer, choreographer, and teacher, draws on her vast experience in festivals, artist development, and cultural programming, currently shaping large-scale projects at the Royal Docks, as well as continuing to teach.
And Matthew Peters, composer, performer, and Senior Lecturer at the Academy of Contemporary Music, brings over 30 years of experience across performance and management, bridging music, theatre, and education with creativity and innovation.
💙 We are so proud to have such a dynamic, knowledgeable, and inspiring group of people helping to steer Autin Dance Theatre into this exciting new chapter.
