Violet and the Sea Giant

Eko has had an exciting year of travels, meeting extraordinary audiences across the UK and Europe! For those who enjoyed this moving tale about our planet’s climate emergency – told through dance, movement, and masterful puppeteering featuring Eko, the 13-foot-tall Sea Giant – we’re excited to share that you can now bring a piece of the show home!

Inspired by Autin Dance Theatre’s acclaimed outdoor performance, Out of the Deep Blue, the book Violet and the Sea Giant reflects themes of the climate emergency and biodiversity crisis. The live performance, designed for families and festival audiences, features Eko and Violet, a little girl he encounters on the shore.

Violet wished she had a friend. Then, great sea giant, Eko, appears! Violet sets off on a rollercoaster ride with Eko to the bottom of the sea. She meets fish that glow in the dark, squids serving an underwater feast, and a wise seal. Violet discovers that the sea is being destroyed. But what can she do? She is only little. With her Granny and a new gang of friends, can Violet help save the ocean?
