We’re delighted to welcome Laura Hague to the Autin Dance Theatre team as our new Special Project Coordinator. Many of you may already recognise Laura from her performances alongside Eko in Out of the Deep Blue, and we’re thrilled that she’ll now be leading and developing our education and participation programme.
Laura is a London-based dance artist and choreographer whose career spans stage and screen across the jazz, commercial, contemporary and circus sectors. She has performed nationally and internationally with companies and organisations including Alleyne Dance, Ascension Dance, Incandescence Circus, Boomtown Festival, FILA, NIKE and the Royal Albert Hall. As a choreographer, her work has been presented by Sky Arts, The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, The Distance Disco Project (USA), The Vintage Circus (Palestine) and through her own full-length production, Do You Understand Me?. Passionate about using movement to inspire conversation, Laura creates work that explores social and political themes in ways that are both thought-provoking and engaging. We can’t wait for you to see the exciting projects she’ll be leading over the coming months.
